I'm curious as to how you all discovered this board. Cherry told me about it. I don't think I would have ever found it on my own.

I was doing a google or yahoo search (I don't remember which) on American Girl furniture. So I guess you would say I just happened upon it. I am so glad I did! This board has made my collecting seem authentic and ok. Thank you all!

First, I found Curt's great homepage through google and in his guestbook someone had mentioned Ann's homepage "Society of American Girl Collectors", which eventually led me here. Phew, quite a journey

I did a google search for 'American Girl inside information secrets' or something of that sort a couple times because once a customer mentioned she had seen the picture of Marisol months before she was released at the end of December. I wanted to get in on that action because I only got to see Marisol the week before she was released. My first few attempts were fruitless, except for finding Curt's site. Then in June, the google search hit the jackpot!

I googled "American Girl" with some specific information (I do not remember now what it was) and the link I got was from a post on this board.
Been here ever since, love it, love ya'll, and cannot imagine not having it! It's the one place where no one thinks I've completely lost it...

I was on a computer away from home and forgot the address of Curt Danhauser's site, so I did a Google search for it. A few hits down was this site: http://www.justmagicdolls.com/AGFami...anGirl/AG.htm, which led me to the SOAGC, which led me to the message boards! Whew! I'm so happy I found these boards. Between all the collectors here, we seem to have figured out just about everything there is to know about AG.
